Addie or Twelve Point, Line 34, New Martinsville Glass Mfg. Co. c. 1930

Addie, also called Twelve Point pattern depression glass was manufactured in a variety of colors including amethyst, black, crystal, cobalt, green, jade green satin, pink, red, and with the Lotus Glass Co. a silver decoration.

Gene Florence, author of Depression Glass books (See our bookstore) called this pattern "Twelve Point" then discovered author William Heacock had christened the pattern in tribute to Addie Miller, a pioneer author for New Martinsville Company wares. The company had designated it Line 34.
